IRVINE, Calif. | NSBNsports.com | July 23rd, 2026 — Eight of the nation’s top women’s teams will compete for a championship and a share of a $20,000 prize pool when the second annual UPSL Women National Finals begin Friday at Great Park.

The three-day tournament will run July 24-26 in Irvine, bringing the United Premier Soccer League’s regional champions together for a national showcase of women’s semi-professional soccer.

This year’s event follows the inaugural UPSL Women National Championship in 2025, which was held at the Kansas City Current’s training facility in Kansas City, Missouri. The Albany Alleycats defeated Little Rock Rangers SC in the championship match to become the division’s first national champion.

“The league is incredibly proud to host our second-ever UPSL Women National Finals,” UPSL Women National Director Amer Mian said. “We are doing everything we can to grow the game on the women’s side, and increasing the total prize pool to $20,000 reflects our continued investment in the game.”

Mian said the tournament is designed to provide leading female players with a national platform to compete, showcase their abilities and pursue a championship.

The UPSL was founded in 2011 and includes more than 800 independently owned clubs across its Premier, Division 1, A-League, Academy and Women’s divisions. The league is a national affiliate member of the U.S. Soccer Federation.
