The No 15 ranked Bryan College Women’s Basketball team traveled down to Georgia on Saturday afternoon for a game against Reinhardt University. The Lady Lions beat the Eagles back in November and they were looking to find repeated success.

Reinhardt tried to slow the game down and limit Bryan’s high-scoring offense. However, the Eagles were unable to impact the efficiency of the Lady Lions. Bryan shot 53% in the 1st quarter to take a 23-5 lead. Their defense limited Reinhardt to just four made field goals in the first half.

The Lady Lions used a 15-0 run in the 3rd quarter to extend their lead to 40 points. An even 4th quarter allowed Bryan to coast to their 19th win the of the season with a final score of 84-47.

Samantha Russell set a new Lady Lion single-game record after grabbing 15 defensive rebounds. Gracee Dishman tallied 24 points and has scored 20+ in 11 of her last 12 games. Karli Combs finished with 11 points and 5 rebounds. Maci Pitner added 10 points off the bench.

The Lady Lions will host Bluefield University on Monday night in Dayton at 5:00PM.
