The Carolina Panthers have found their new man to steer the ship: Teddy Bridgewater. Bridgewater was the man in Minnesota for some time, spent time in New York, and filled in for Drew Brees last season.
The Panthers terms on the contract with the quarterback could be worth up to $60 million. It spells trouble for longtime starter Cam Newton, who will likely now be on the move.
Bridgewater has been reunited with new Panthers OC Joe Brady, who was an offensive assistant with the New Orleans Saints back in 2017.
