Taylor Heinicke burst onto the scene of the NFL on Saturday night. As per usual, football fans love when someone new has to step into what could be a heroic situation for them and their city.
After playing well all game, Heinicke got his highlight moment. He ducked out of range of the Bucs defensive line and scrambled to diving distance of the end zone. He leapt from his feet and was able to contact the pylon for the score.
During the exciting play Heinicke separated the AC Joint of his shoulder. In spite of the significant injury and accompanying pain, he continued to play for more than a quarter’s worth of football.
