To the fans selling out the arena, again. The unseasonably warmer weather, must have brought the late season playoff feel. This nearly deafening decibel support was reminiscent of the recent Kelly Cup playoffs. Toledo is a place to hang your hat, especially if you are a hockey fan.
To the team, for their assistive play in order for Shane Berschbach to get a hat trick! Congrats on changing the momentum of the game from a slow first period.
To the opponents for having fighting chances, literally. I have never seen so many fisticuffs in one game. Even gave a center rink performance.
To the “Love Your Melon” cause, for this promotional event to support childhood cancers. The proceeds go to a local children’s hospital. The hats dotted the spectator sea, as beacons of hope.
To the off ice team members, who help make such an enjoyable evening possible.
The Toledo Walleye ECHL Hockey game on Sunday 12/29/19,was a game in which I will fondly remember.
