When it comes to the Lions, what is the latest information? Also, MicroMike will talk about the Lions expectations for the 2021 NFL season. What we have learned in minicamp and how well can this team can reach. Also, Jared Goff’s 2021 expectations and how Dan Campbell does not care what the media thinks.

The Lions signed a fourth member of their 2021 draft class on Thursday.

Second-round pick Levi Onwuzurike is the latest to agree to his rookie deal. Third-round cornerback Ifeatu Melifonwu, fourth-round wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown and fourth-round linebacker Derrick Barnes are the remaining unsigned draft picks.

Onwuzurike opted out of playing in his final season at Washington, but did accept an invitation to the Senior Bowl. He had 95 tackles, 16 tackles for loss and seven sacks in 34 collegiate games.

The Lions took another defensive tackle in the third round in Alim McNeill and they also traded for Michael Brockers, so the interior of their defensive line will have plenty of new faces this season.

On Thursday, the Detroit Lions wrap up their final Organized Team Activity practice. But before the young players who remain in Allen Park break until training camp in late July, the Lions wanted to make sure they had at least one more rookie under contract.

The team announced on Thursday afternoon that Lions second-round pick Levi Onwuzurike signed his rookie contract. Though terms of the deal have not been released, rookie contracts are typically four years. For reference, the player who was selected 41st overall in the 2020 draft—same spot as Onwuzurike in 2021—signed a four-year, $7.8 million deal last year (Colts RB Jonathan Taylor).

With that signing the Lions now have four of their seven draft picks under contract: first-round pick Penei Sewell, third-round pick Alim McNeill, seventh-round pick Jermar Jefferson, and Onwuzurike. The three draft picks still unsigned are cornerback Ifeatu Melifonwu, wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown, and linebacker Derrick Barnes.
