Week Two is underway for the Chattanooga Mocs fall football camp. The quad completed practice No. 4 Monday morning on Scrappy Moore Field before returning to the locker room to the latest news.
Stats Perform released the first FCS Top 25 poll of the season with Mocs coming in at No. 12. That was one spot behind ETSU at No. 11. Mercer also registered in the top 25 at No. 23. Furman was among others receiving votes.
It’s the third straight season ranked in the Stats Perform FCS Top 25 opening poll. Last year’s group was No. 18 which was one behind another SoCon opponent (VMI) after receiving votes in 2019 and 2020. It’s the top initial ranking since No. 12 in 2017.
The Mocs 2022 schedule includes five home games, with visits from Wofford, North Alabama, VMI, Mercer and Samford. Season tickets start at just $60 for general admission. Go to the Go Mocs app or call (423) 266-MOCS (6627) to purchase.
