The Bryan College Women’s Basketball team made the long 411 mile trip to St. Andrews University for an Appalachian Athletic Conference matchup on Tuesday afternoon. The undefeated Lady Lions entered the game with just as many losses this season as the Knights had won. No. 20 ranked Bryan asserted their dominance quickly and held an 18-5 lead in just 6 minutes of play.

They would go on to knock down 9 long bombs to take a 49-26 halftime lead. The Lady Lions did not let up in the second half and extended their lead out to 37 points late in the 3rd. The final stanza was more of the same with 5 three-pointers as they reach the century mark for the 6th time this season for a final score of 100-57. Bryan improves to 16-0 overall and 11-0 in the AAC.

Torie Brooks hit three’s on her way to a team-high 21 points and 9 rebounds. Gracee Dishman recorded her first double-double of the season with 20 points and a season-high 11 rebounds. Karli Combs added 5 of her own from beyond the arc for 17 points. Kaitlynn Hennessee filled the stat sheet with 12 points, 6 rebounds, 5 assists, 4 steals, and 3 blocks. Samantha Russell finished with a near double-double with 10 points and 8 assists. Deandra Luna dished out a team-high 9 assists.

Bryan will host Brenau University back in Dayton on Saturday at 2:00PM.
