Broker is one of the four boroughs of Liberty City and is the third largest borough next to Dukes and Algonquin. It contains 12 out of the city’s 65 neighborhoods.
Its real-life archetype is Brooklyn. It is situated to the south of the borough of Dukes and connected to Algonquin by the Broker and Algonquin bridges.
Streets in Broker are named after Western-era cowboys and cowboy-related words. Avenues in Broker are primarily been named after Indian tribes.
Broker and Dukes are the only boroughs in the metropolitan area that share an island. Water separates all the other boroughs.
Dukes is another one of the four boroughs of Liberty City.
While it only contains nine out of the city’s sixty five neighborhoods, the Dukes neighborhoods themselves are large, thus the borough is large, being slightly larger than its neighboring borough Broker, thus becoming the second largest after Algonquin.
Its archetype is Queens (both words are positions in a monarchy).
The borough is spread across two islands. Seven of its eight districts are located on the Broker/Dukes mainland island, with the eighth being Charge Island in the Humboldt River.
The Humboldt River is a large body of water in Liberty City which separates Algonquin Island from Broker, Dukes and Bohan, with Charge Island and Colony Island located on the river. It is named after the fictional explorer Horatio Humboldt.
