It is officially July our last month without college football this year. That means it is time for more previews and predictions. Last time out we did our Big 12 2021 Predictions but now it is time for our Big Ten 2021 Predictions and preview. The Big Ten is one of the most premier conferences in all of College Football. Including some of the most historic programs like Ohio State, Michigan, Wisconsin, and more the Big Ten is home to some of the biggest and most passionate fanbases in America. But how will the Big Ten do this season and more importantly how will the Big 10 standings shape up. I think it’s far to say the Big Ten still has some bottom dwellers. Teams like the Michigan State Spartans, Illinois Fighting Illini, Rutgers Scarlet Knights, and the Purdue Boilermakers. These teams are in a rebuild phase to get back to the top of the Big 10. Next we have our middle of the pack which consists of some rising teams like the Maryland Terrapins or Minnesota Golden Gophers as well as some big programs stuck in a rut like the Michigan Wolverines and Nebraska Cornhuskers. Then we have our teams whoa re threats to win their divisions like the Penn State Nitanny Lions, Iowa Hawkeyes, North Western Wildcats and Indiana Hoosiers. Lastly we have our divison favourite. Starting off with the defending National Champion runner up the Ohio State Buckeyes. Yes the Buckeyes lose generational talent Justin Fields but Ryan Day has Ohio State in anywhere but a bad spot. The Buckeyes look to continue their reign on the Big 10 and more importantly the Big 10 East. How about in the West where we have the Wisconsin Badgers. The Badgers were hit hard by covid last year but Graham Mertz looks to me a huge difference maker this season for the Badgers. The Big Ten has lots of Questions this year. Like are the Indiana Hoosiers ready to take down Ohio State? Is Michigan Football going to rebound after a terrible season last year? Is Penn State ready to get back to the top of the Big 10 east?
