Both Olivet College and Adrian College are riding win streaks, and one will be broken as the two football teams meet in MIAA action on Saturday. Things are shaping up for a shootout, after both teams totaled 450 yards of offense last week.
Olivet will be celebrating Homecoming during the contest. They are 4-0 on the year entering Saturday, following a 63-6 walloping of Finlandia University, the MIAA newcomer. Adrian will be the first real benchmark for this Comet team, as they have yet to play any formidable competition.
Adrian has fallen to 2-2 on the year. Bouncing back with two straight wins, following to powerhouse out of conference opponents. Their last two wins have also been miracles (see below) after they both came off of field goals by the National D3Football.com kicker of the week, Cooper West.

Olivet has only allowed 13.3 points per game, while they have scored an impressive 39.5 per game. Adrian’s clip is less flashy, but they still have totaled 400 offensive yards plus per game. Impressive yardage that is driven mostly by Sophomore Quarterback Jack Wurzer and his relentless passing attack that centers around Henry Wilson and Joe Cleary.
