GRAYSON, Kentucky | NSBNsports.com | September 7th, 2025 — Kentucky Christian picked up its first victory of the season Saturday, storming back from an early deficit to defeat Brevard College 41-20 at home.
The Knights fell behind in the opening quarter but responded with 41 unanswered points. Quarterback Jackson Wasik led the charge, throwing for 229 yards and three touchdowns. Defensive back Ja’Tarius Randolph capped the performance with a 68-yard interception return for a score.
KCU’s offense found its rhythm after Brevard’s early strike, with Wasik spreading the ball effectively and the unit sustaining drives. The defense complemented the effort by forcing turnovers and keeping the Tornados in check.
Head coach Jason Aubry praised the group’s resilience. He noted the team’s ability to stay focused through an in-game delay and said the Knights showed the kind of balance they will need moving forward.
KCU (1-1) travels to Taylor University on Saturday, Sept. 13, for a 4 p.m. kickoff.
