In what one could consider one of the fastest 4x100m races across the board in U.S. high school history, FOUR teams dipped under 40 seconds in the 2024 UIL 6A boys final and national record-holders Humble Atascocita took home the win in 39.14.
39.14 makes for the second-fastest time ever recorded in the event in U.S. high school history. Atascocita, Duncanville (38.47), Galena Park NS (39.79) and Katy Tompkins (39.85) all went under 40 seconds in the final.
