The Bryan College Men’s Basketball team was looking to stay hot on Tuesday afternoon as they traveled to St. Andrews University in search of their fourth-consecutive Appalachian Athletic Conference win. The offense exploded right from tip-off with a 14-3 run in under 4 minutes. The lead remained around 11 points throughout most of the first half, but Bryan used the final 3 minutes to go on another run and head into the halftime locker room up 48-29.
The Lions shot 54.5% in the second half to keep their comfortable lead. They coasted with 32 points off the bench compared to just 4 for St. Andrews. Bryan improves to 11-5 overall and 8-4 in the AAC after routing the Knights 91-68.
Brandon Thomas recorded a double-double with a team-high 20 points and 12 rebounds. Justin Warner earned a double-double of his own with 12 points and 10 rebounds. Noah Mulaski finished with 17 points and 5 assists. Michael Cody put up 17 points off the bench after shooting 7-10.
Bryan will be back home on Thursday night for a rematch against Kentucky Christian at 7:30PM.
