New Hampshire Motor Speedway is not a track far up in many fan’s favorite lists, but for me, it may be number #1. There is good reason for that, I am from New Hampshire originally. When Bob Bahre opened the state of the art 1-mile facility in 1990, he planned to attract the biggest motorsports series in the country, and within 3 years both Indycar and Nascar were making stops to New England’s largest sporting venue. So lets sit back and revisit the first ever race at the facility, before it was even fully completed, the 1990 Busch Series, Budweiser 300!
