Grim news was announced this week, as a WWE Hall of Fame inductee is suffering from cancer.
Hall of Famer “Bullet” Bob Armstrong, according to reports, has bone cancer. It’s reported that the cancer is in his ribs, shoulder, and prostate, according to a report from eWrestlingNews’ Matt Boone. Moreover, the 80-year-old pro wrestling legend is currently refusing treatments to attempt fighting off cancer.
Armstrong in a workout…because you “Never Give Up”
Armstrong’s son, Scott Armstrong, a producer for WWE, took to Twitter to comment on the condition of his father.
“Today my 80 year old Dad, WWE Hall of Famer Bullet Bob, asked if he could come over to get a workout,” writes Armstrong. “He’s got bone cancer in his ribs, shoulder and prostate and chose not to go through any treatment (his choice)!”
A photo of the wrestling legend in a workout session accompanies the tweet. Therefore, Armstrong addresses it in his post.

Scott adds, “I put 30 lbs. on there and he said, ‘Gimme 100 lbs.!!!’”
Armstrong was a multiple-time regional champion within the National Wrestling Alliance. Additionally, he played a major player role in his time with Smoky Mountain Wrestling.
In 1995, Armstrong was ranked among the top 500 wrestlers by Pro Wrestling Illustrated. After that, he would also earn that honor in 2003 as a result.
