So after Antonio Brown had the whole incident of him basically quitting on the team yesterday, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers cut ties with him and released him. This comes as no surprise though, because I mean he literally just walked off the field after refusing to go in the game, but this comes as no surprise to me. I honestly didn’t think AB was gonna last very long in Tampa, especially with Bruce Arians as the head coach. But in his short stint there, he ended up helping Tom Brady and the Bucs win another Super Bowl, and he showed to everybody he’s still one of the best receivers in the league. The only downside was all the drama he brought. This tends to happen everywhere he goes which is super unfortunate, because he’s still one of the best WR’s in the NFL, but he just can’t seem to stay out of trouble. And with his recent release, Brown is scheduled to hit free agency, and with the Arizona Cardinals missing their number one wide receiver, Deandre Hopkins, due to injury, could we see AB land in AZ? This honestly isn’t too far fetched. With the Cardinals sitting at 11-5 right now, signing Brown would give them another valuable piece to their offense, and make them legit Super Bowl Contenders. Now I’m not sure if this is a move Steve Keim will be willing to make due to Brown’s history, but if the Cardinals want to go all in, this is a move I think they should make!
