The No. 14 ranked Bryan College Women’s Basketball team traveled up to Virginia on Tuesday night to face Bluefield University for the second time in two weeks. The Lady Lions held a narrow two-point lead after the first quarter but used a 21-4 run throughout the 2nd to build a 44-28 lead at halftime.
The Rams won the 3rd frame and cut the lead to 11 points. The Lady Lion offense exploded in the 4th for 6 three-pointers and 32 points to secure the 95-67 victory. Bryan remains undefeated and improves their overall record to 23-0 and holds the top stop in the Appalachian Athletic Conference standings.
Three different Lady Lions scored 20+ points for the first time this season. Gracee Dishman had 24 points recorded her 14th game this year with 20+ points. Karli Combs tied her season-high with 7 made three-pointers. Destiny Kassner tallied her first double-double of the season with 20 points & 11 rebounds.
Bryan will stay on the road and travel to Union College on Saturday at 2:00PM.
