The No. 25-ranked Bryan College Women’s Basketball team traveled to face Truett McConnell on Wednesday night for an Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) road game. The Lady Lions have shot 20.6% from three in their last two games in Benjamin F. Brady Arena, and the struggles continued tonight. Bryan has averaged 11.4 three-point field goals made per game this season but was only able to knock down 5 against the Bears.

The Lady Lions were able to execute defensively and limited Truett McConnell to just 15 field goals after shooting 23% for the game. Bryan put on their defensive showcase for all four quarters and earned the 70-43 win on the road.

The Lady Lions remain perfect with an 8-0 overall record and their 5th AAC victory. The Lady Lions will return home on Saturday for a game against Columbia College at 2:00PM.
