The Adrian College men’s soccer team returned to the win column, shutting out Albion College on the road in a conference matchup.

Despite intensity by both squads in the first half, the scoreboard read 0-0 heading into halftime, with both teams putting one shot on-goal.

The Bulldogs posted their game-winning goal in the 66th minute as Garrett Miller posted an unassisted tally for his career-best fifth goal of the season.

Fadi Sobh followed in the upperclassman’s footsteps, recording the second goal of his young career with 11 minutes remaining in the contest. Sobh was helped along by his classmate Logan Thomas, with his second-collegiate assist.

Earning the win for the Bulldogs was Spencer Brown, who is now 9-4-1 on the season, thanks to his three saves.

Senior Garrett Miller notched the game-winning goal, for his fifth goal of the season. Freshman Fadi Sobh tacked on the Bulldogs’ insurance tally 13 minutes later. Goalkeeper Spencer Brown collected his fifth shutout of the season behind three saves.

Adrian returns home on Saturday, as it hosts No. 2 Calvin for a 12 p.m. contest at Docking Stadium.
